But not gonna lie I'm enjoying having an excuse to be lazy and catchup on me time

Sweater Weather

 I really do adore autumn.. if you couldn't tell from my last post. The weather is perfect for wearing my favorite fashion pieces, especially big oversized sweaters... the chunkier and softer the better.  I'm wearing a Forever21 men's cardigan that is a deep green with burgundy accents (the best fall colors in my opinion). 

I swear sometimes men's clothes are just so much better than women's. 

The rest of my outfit are just basics.. pj shorts, a forever21 tank, and stripped knee socks. 

All thats missing is a steaming mug of vanilla tea, a good book, and a fuzzy blanket...

Lets Talk About Socks Baby...

 Going absolutely crazy for socks this season; 

thigh highs, knee socks, frilly socks and everything in between

 My black wide brim hat is from Forever21 and is absolutely purrrfect.

Its the best time of the season

thick socks, tall boots, autumn leaves, leather weather, pumpkin spice lattes, wide brim hats, oversized sweaters, knit scarves, burgundy & emerald green, cold nights, cuddling with books, cocoa and tea, bonfires, the smell of spices, thanksgiving leftovers, patterned tights, pumpkin carving....

Summer Daze

I live in these booties, I know. I wear them waaaaay too much but they just seem to go with everything. They are from Urban Outfitters and were one of my best investments to date.

 During the summer I want to live in Free People dresses, they are perfecttttt.

Getting a little lost is a good thing, exploring is good for the soul.

When we lose ourselves in the things we love, we find ourselves there as well... or in the desert.

 Urban Outfitters makes bomb shoes and accessories, I must say.

Laughter is the best medicine for any ailment.

Desert Dreaming

So I've been slacking, a lot.

But for good reason! I moved into a new apartment, tackled finals at fidm (which is a feat to say the least), and went back to PA for a quick visit. I'm in Burbank now, back to Fidm for the summer semester and blogging once again :) 

 I recently bought this adorable Urban Renewal dress at Urban Outfitters on sale for only $20, score. I love the unfinished denim top which adds a little edginess to the baby doll style dress. I paired it with my favorite platforms and the usual accessories (as many rings as I can pile on and some dainty bracelets).

Fat Hair, Don't Care

For those of you that know me, you know I love big wild hair. I call it my fat hair and for years I've gone through trials and tribulations trying to find a product that pumps up my volume and that lasts. Then Carrie, my roomie, introduced me to Kenra last week... it was love at first spray. Kenra can be a bit drying though and does not prevent frizz (I use Its a 10 for that) but it gives tons of volume and it lasts most of the day and it doesn't make your hair hard! Its my new hairspray Holy Grail.

"Dolla make me holla"- I now know how Honey Booboo feels.. when I'm at Jet Rag every Sunday Morning. Let me just say if you live in LA and don't go to Jet rag I really question what you're doing with your life. Yeah its that great.

I found this super light weight button up, I cut off the sleeves and after washing it the shirt turned light blue (but I love little surprises like that) Its an effortless piece to throw on with shorts and best of all.. it has pockets! I think all us girls agree that anything is automatically made better with pockets, or maybe thats just me.. oh well I love it! I also found a huge shiny African looking dress at Jet Rag that I absolutely destroyed and turned into the above top.

Bargain Hunting

Thanks to my roomie I'm now addicted to Jet Rag's dollar deals! Every sunday morning they open bundles of clothes at 11 am and we attack them like animals... seriously attack. Pushing, shoving, clothes stealing... yup it gets pretty ugly sometimes but I've gotten the most unique pieces there! Its the ultimate form of thrifting and highly addictive, I recommend for any brave fashion lovers :)
